Course Description
Implants
With the growing momentum of implant dentistry, knowing anatomy is paramount to the patients’ safety and success of the dental implant treatment. Anatomy is often underappreciated or quickly forgotten as it learned. Therefore, the doctor must be constantly be reviewing and studying anatomy throughout their career. A very comprehensive anatomy course can be quite arduous, and it best learned in conjunction with a cadaver lab course. In this short 3-hour webinar we will briefly discuss anatomy as it relates to implant dentistry, with emphasis on the surgical aspects. We will focus on anatomy using photos and illustrations to make it simpler to understand and follow.

Course Objectives
At the completion of this course the participants should be able to:
- Learn the vascular supply of the face.
- How to avoid iatrogenic injury to critical structures.
- Understand and perform trigeminal nerve neural competency examination.
- Identify hemorrhages, their distinctions and management.
