Course Description
Pediatric Dentistry
Specific dental scenarios, such as dental pain, dental infections, or oral bacterial, viral, or fungal infections in children, may require using various pharmacologic agents for optimum management. This may be particularly challenging if dental team members are unaccustomed to medications, formulations, and dosages that are safe and therapeutic for pediatric patients. This interactive webinar will use a case-based learning format to discuss clinical scenarios in children that necessitate the use of pharmacologic agents.
The educational teaching methodology used in this course is live, interactive lecture presented via Zoom webinar with an accompanying PowerPoint presentation. Both the live webinar and the PowerPoint presentation incorporate a variety of audio and visual cues to enhance audience members’ understanding and retention of key concepts. In addition, question and answer periods are provided for at the conclusion of each section of the live webinar.
